PKL

PKL

PKL, originally established in 1985, was acquired by Lowe Rental in 2019. Together, the group is now the world’s largest foodservice equipment hire organisation to the Major Events and Exhibitions industry.

PKL/Lowe specialise in the provision of temporary catering facilities to world class events. Products include temporary kitchens, foodservice equipment and display and modular refrigeration.

Working with event organisers, overlay or master caterers - we develop the scope of work and deliver solutions capable of feeding tens of thousands people per day. Typical projects have included:

  • Temporary kitchens housed in tented structures to feed athletes, staff and officials at the Olympic, Asian, Commonwealth and Pan American Games
  • Hire of Portable Kitchen units to support hospitality, artist and crew catering at sporting events and concerts
  • Hire of temporary catering facilities for “Seasons” events in KSA
  • Catering and display equipment for EXPO’s, Exhibitions and “Seasons” style events

Services

Typically as part of design & build projects, we provide a full turnkey solution including design, project management, delivery, installation and on-site maintenance of kitchen infrastructure. Additionally we can co-ordinate the installation of M&E services to support the kitchen installation.
