Work Categories

Membership in AGES is open to leading suppliers of services related to and the provision of temporary or permanent event infrastructure, often summarized as “overlay works”. Such services and work orders may comprise all types of civil engineering, architectural or structural contracts, including technical installations, outfitting and/or services for the operation of the venue.

AGES has defined the following categories as relevant to the association: 

Tents and canopies, temporary building and pavilions, containers and modular buildings, toilets and sanitary installations, staging and seating, floor and cable protection, fencing and security gates, power generation and distribution, AV and special effects, scaffolding, rigging, bridges and trussing, HVAC installations, water and sewage, kitchen and food service equipment, communication, look and branding, signage and way finding, and furniture and fittings.
